The Minnesota Alliance With Youth VISTA program places members in nonprofits, government, and schools to create, connect, and leverage resources to address education inequities such as the opportunity and achievement gaps. We build capacity, coordinate integration of school and community-wide support for youth, and actively engage youth as agents of change. The Community Engagement VISTA will support QUEERSPACE collective’s mission to create space for LGBTQ+ youth to feel safe and empowered to be their true selves through increasing community awareness and engagement in the organization.
