YOUTH PROGRAMS

Our vision is for all 2SLGBTQIA + youth to have a network of support to help them develop a strong sense of pride in who they are, where they come from, and where they want to go.

Our programming provides ways and resources for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth to connect with safe 2SLGBTQIA+ adults and staff in positive, healthy environments all while exploring new skills.

We're proud to offer several programs at no-cost for youth within the Twin Cities metro and St. Cloud area.

  • 1:1 Mentorship Program (only Twin Cities)

  • Group Youth Workshops

  • Drop-In Youth Center in Minneapolis

LEARN ABOUT OUR YOUTH PROGRAMS

1:1 MENTORSHIP PROGRAM

There are over 5,000 mentorship programs across the U.S. with less than 10 focused on 2SLGBTQIA+ youth. Youth ages 13-17, with parent/guardian permission, can enroll into our intergenerational mentorship program that pairs a 2SLGBTQIA+ youth with a 2SLGBTQIA+ adult aged 25+ to hang out, set goals, and build pride in their identities. This program is only available within the Twin Cities metro.

GROUP YOUTH WORKSHOPS

Offered quarterly, our youth workshops focus on community and intergenerational mentorship to help youth build skills and confidence through experiences like STEM, sports, DJing, theatre, arts and crafts, and more. Each workshop series includes a facilitator, 2-3 adult 2SLGBTQIA+ mentors, and up to 16 2SLGBTQIA+ youth. Participants meet once per week - consistent day, time, and location - for 3-8 weeks, depending on the experience.

COMMUNITY EVENTS

Our community events are open to the public and built to be relevant, responsive, and deeply aligned with the evolving needs of our 2SLGBTQIA+ community. From Queer Dialogues to our annual celebrations for Spirit Day and Birthday Bash, and national awareness moments like Pride Month and National Coming Out Day, each event uplifts belonging, Queer joy, and expands access to vital resources.
