Alex (she/hers) is an attorney specializing in the Consumer Packaged Foods industry. Most recently, she joined Post Consumer Brands as a Senior Counsel supporting the company's grocery business. Originally from Chicago, Alex attended law school at the University of Iowa and started her career as an intellectual property attorney at a small litigation firm in Des Moines, Iowa. In 2016, Alex relocated to Minneapolis to work for General Mills as a trademark, advertising and marketing attorney. Alex played an active role while at General Mills in its LGTBQ+ employee resource group, including leading its Development Pillar. Currently, she is the lead for Post Consumer Brands' LGBTQ+ employee resource group, PCB Pride. Alex believes strongly in the power of mentorship and the importance of having LGBTQ+ role models for queer identifying kids. 

 

Alex currently lives in Minneapolis with her partner, Jasmine and their two dogs, Betty and Archie.
