ST. CLOUD PROGRAMMING

In collaboration with community partners and volunteers, QUEERSPACE collective in St. Cloud uses a group mentoring model where Queer youth between ages 13-17 can connect with Queer adults and staff in safe, welcoming spaces. This programming is entirely free and offers youth a positive environment to show up as their authentic selves, make Queer friends, and build community through group activities like crafting, board games, and more.

We offer group programming in the St. Cloud and central Minnesota region through two opportunities:

  • Monthly Youth QueerConnect hangouts

  • Youth Workshops

YOUTH WORKSHOPS

QUEERSPACE collective hosts 3-4 Youth Workshops yearly (and a few one-day popup events!) in the St. Cloud/Central MN area.

Youth Workshops offer a welcoming, group-based mentorship experience centered on identity, community, and intergenerational connection. Through creative arts, STEM exploration, and leadership development, these workshops intentionally support youth in building skills, confidence, and meaningful relationships.

Each workshop series is led by a facilitator and supported by 2SLGBTQIA+ adult mentors, serving local Queer and Trans youth. Workshops are completely free to attend and usually meet once per week- on a consistent day, time, and location.

To participate in youth workshops, youth must meet the the following requirements:

  • Be between the ages of 13–17

  • Identify as part of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community

  • Have an interest in engaging in Queer mentorship and community-based programming

  • Reside in the greater St. Cloud or Central Minnesota area

  • Be able to commit to the full duration of the workshop series

Registration is required. Check out our upcoming Youth Workshops via the button link below.
