LGBTQ+ Youth Mentorship
About the Program
COMMUNITY-BASED MENTORSHIP (Twin Cities Metro)
Mentor and mentee pairs connect with one another two to three times a month. That might look like going for a walk, exploring a new museum, playing sports or games, or cooking a meal together. Pairs also participate in monthly group hangouts with other mentors and mentees to promote community building through fun and educational activities.
SITE-BASED MENTORSHIP (St. Cloud Area)
Mentor and mentee pairs connect with one another two to three times a month at a QUEERSPACE hosted location on predetermined days and times. Multiple mentor and mentee pairs will be sharing the space during these times. These meetings will include time for small group activities as well as 1:1 time for mentors and mentees. Pairs also participate in monthly group hangouts with other mentors and mentees to promote community building between through fun and educational activities.
QUEERSPACE collective has partnered with local organizations and event centers to provide access to events, museums, and entertainment activities completely free of charge for matches. We will provide transportation stipends as needed.
