Director

Elizabeth Olson

Elizabeth Olson (she/her) is currently serving as the Development and Communications Director at QUEERSPACE collective, where she creates and implements fundraising and community engagement strategies to further the organization's mission to create space for LGBTQ+ youth to feel safe and empowered to be their true selves. She has worked in nonprofit development at numerous nonprofits in both Minnesota and California, emphasizing transformational work for families and youth.

Elizabeth graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Family Social Science from the University of Minnesota's College of Education and Human Development. She is also a graduate of the University of Minnesota's Community Engagement Scholars Program. Currently, Elizabeth is pursuing a Master of Social Work at Augsburg University, specializing in Anti-Oppressive Macro Practice. She is committed to advancing anti-racist and anti-oppressive practices in social work, driving intersectional social justice initiatives, and creating sustainable, compassionate systems that support the prosperity of all people.

Elizabeth's leadership is marked by her introspective and compassionate approach, strategic innovation, and dedication to collaborative partnerships. Her work in the nonprofit sector underscores her passion for making a positive impact on communities and individuals, and she is excited to further the mission of QUEERSPACE collective through her expertise in fundraising and development.
