Tina Nguyen (they/she) is a compassionate facilitator, experienced in guiding youth and the adults who love and hold them. Their community organizing and advocacy work aims to ensure trans and queer kids feel safe and affirmed as their true selves.

 

Tina earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities with a focus on multi-genre writing, editing, and BIPOC literature. They trained as an Our Whole Lives (OWL) Sexuality Education Facilitator for middle and high school youth and a youth mentor through Journey of Young Women. In addition, Tina’s training includes healing-centered engagement, circle facilitation, LGBTQ+ inclusion and allyship, and embodied anti-racism. Curiosity and learning continue to guide them forward.

 

When Tina isn’t at work, you will likely find them reading a book, snuggling up with one of their kids or cats, or hiking alone.
